“KNOWING IS NOT ENOUGH, WE MUST APPLY. WILLING IS NOT ENOUGH, WE MUST DO.” – Bruce Lee
Yes! We all want to become rich and have luxurious and very magnificent lives. But how many of us are actually willing to work towards achieving our goals of becoming rich? Your desire to achieve great riches will only depend on what you are willing to do and what you have failed to do.
If you are here to look for easy methods on becoming rich, let me tell you that there is absolutely no easy method (unless it is unauthenticated method). Richness depends on one major factor i.e. your financial control. Your ability to save more than you spend.
1. How to Build Your Wealth:
Pay yourself first. Weather your income is Rs. 10,000 or Rs. 1,00,000 make sure to save minimum 10% of your income. This will not only help you build financial safety but also give you freedom to spend more when you require.
If you think that 10% is too much to save, please remember those times when you were in college or low paying jobs and you used to live off with what you had then. It is not necessary to spend every penny that you earn. Not necessary to own the latest car or a new phone. Don’t prioritize technology over your pension plans. Your kid’s will need their education fund later more than a new car today.
2. Perspective towards Money Matters:
“The single most powerful asset we have is our mind. If trained well, it can create enormous wealth.” – Robert Kiosaki.
Your attitude towards money really does make a difference. People these days form many opinions about money which are quite wrong. Your wrong believes about money might be the cause which is actually keeping you away from it.
Thoughts like money is evil or dirty, I am destined to be poor, If you spend more you earn more, Only dishonest people get rich, I’m not good with money etc. can really repel money in your lives. It is very important to be clear headed in this regards. There is a saying: If you think positive, positive happens. When you think positive about money you attract it. The desire to have more attracts the money. Wherein if you think it’s not meant for you, then it is probably not.
“Thinking” today is the highest paying job. Yes, your thoughts pay you and probably serve as one major difference between rich and poor. Poor people “work hard” while rich people “work smart”. It is, but a fact that when you apply your brain more, you tend to toil less and thus provide quick results. It is rightly said that if you do not have enough is because you probably do not think enough.
3. Settling with what you have:
“You only live once, so make it count. And go after what you want no matter what!” – Steve Jobs.
Yes! Never be satisfied and always push yourself. Do things that people say cannot be done. Most rich people didn’t become rich by just wishing that they were rich. They came out of their comfort zones to achieve what they had thought of. Most of us do not achieve what we desire because of our fear to fail. We prefer security rather than calculated risks.
4. Time Management is a must:
“There are only two times in life, now and too late.” – Anh Do
It is your decision. You can decide to utilize your time wisely or struggle by remaining poor. However, if you plan on becoming rich in future you must begin now. Do not waste time meant for planting today or you may not have anything to harvest in future.
The habit of proper time management is one which will help you in all phases, all circumstances in your life. Time management actually helps to reduce stress and issues related with anxiety. However, there is a huge difference in activity and productivity. While using your time, you should also be mentally prepared. Money earned should be wisely spent. If you keep spending what you earn you will always remain poor. IT is multiplication that creates abundance. Thus to be rich you must make saving your habit.
5. Staying uninformed or ignorant:
“The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance” – Socrates
Knowledge is power. Yes! There is definitely a huge connection between what you know and what you do of your knowledge. You definitely cannot perform better if you don’t know how to perform better. Your abilities to transform your knowledge to wealth are solely depended on how well you know. When talking of wealth it is not necessary to be highly graduated or belonging to a princely family. You must have the ability to self-educate. Most rich men you know are not educated. You should have an open mind to information that you acquire. It is important to build ideas of your own to build more wealth.
Take charge of your life now and do what is required of you. The more you delay the more you lose. Start saving money now to be rich tomorrow. As William Shatner rightly suggests; “If saving money is wrong, I don’t want to be right.”
